The Financing Week marks the end of the training sessions for leaders of the projects chosen for this year's CaixaImpulse programme. The final sessions will take place from 17 to 21 September at Palau Macaya in Barcelona.

Over the course of the week participants will look at topics such as venture capital funds, business angels for life sciences, public funding options and the legal considerations of starting a spin-off. Participants will also receive training on building and managing teams, evaluating early-stage projects, and the importance of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI). One-on-one meetings will also be held with mentors, who will offer participants advice on their valorisation plans.

In addition, project leaders will also be given the chance to find out more about the opportunities offered by EIT Health for promoting and encouraging healthcare innovation, as an expert from the Spanish branch of the European consortium will be in attendance. Thanks to the collaboration between EIT Health and CaixaImpulse, the final week of training sessions will also be attended by students from Delft University of Technology (Netherlands).
